Renaissance Mosaic Mirror Workshop
Instructor: Tami Bogdanoff
Learn the art of working with Italian Millefiori, cane and slices. You will construct a mosaic mirror (or just a panel, if you wish) for an interior location in your home or give as a special gift.
You will learn construction techniques for the direct method such as preparing the base/support structure, choosing adhesives, applying the grout and adding the finishing touches for a professional look. You will all leave with a beautiful piece of art.
Meet with the instructor prior to class to pick up a template. You will need to have your design drawn on your template, and most of your glass nipped up or cut before class. You can also incorporate other objects, such as dishes, tiles, shells, and beads. Be creative!
