Playing with Powder Workshop
Instructors: Pam & Wendy
Learn multiple techniques using powdered frit:
Spruzzo: Using a trowel, similar to faux painting on walls. This results in a layered, textured, and colorful effect. This technique was invented by Jennifer Joy.
Frit Slurry: A mixture of water and powders, with the slurry flowing together. This blends colors and creates unique designs.
Powdered Mosaics: You’ll use a few techniques of applying powder on clear-on-clear mosaics, for various effects.
Once you see your Spruzzo and Frit Slurry pieces, you may elect to purchase and fuse a colored background to enhance your designs.
