Organic Stainless Steel Mold Workshop including a Glass Bowl - New!

Take your glass to a NEW level.  Learn to fabricate your own organic, whimsical stainless steel mold for slumping.  You will be bending and pop riveting your own mold.  The mold will accommodate approximately 14” or larger depending on your design.  After lunch you will choose to design a bowl or create a coral sea bowl using clear iridescent ripple art glass.

Fused Christmas Coral Centerpiece

Make a unique Candlelit Centerpiece for the table. You will cut and layer glass to make you own unique design.  It will be fired in the kiln and slumped.  No experience necessary. Come in to choose your glass.  All materials included.

Fused Snowflakes

We will show you how to use the Morton System to strip cut ¼" pieces of F96 glass and layer them to create beautiful fused snowflakes to hang on your tree or give as a gift.

Times: 10:00 am to 11:30 am
Bring: Loctite Super Glue*, Mosaic nippers & glass cutting tools if you have them.
Cost: $25.00 - 6 snowflakes ~ Limit: 20 students
*Super glue needs to be Loctite Super Glue (plain) no Gel or Pro.

Yard Art - Copper Trellis with a Fused Glass Weave Panel

The newest yard art project! Have you wanted to learn to work with copper pipe? In this workshop you learn how to measure, cut and sweat solder copper pipe to create a trellis for your beautiful fused glass panel. Day 1 you will create a fused weave panel for your trellis and Day 2 you will build your trellis and wire in your fused panel.

You will be building a trellis that will have one weave panel.  If you wish to upgrade to a second panel it will be an additional $45.00

Advanced Coral Sea Bowl with a twist of Sunflower

Objective: Make 2 projects in one night! For the high octane, swift thinking, slam bam thank you ma'am artists out there.

Project 1: Advanced Coral Sea Bowl - We will layer clear and colored fusible 96 glass for depth and a high gloss look. Tuition covers a Medium Size Bowl, but you can upgrade to Large for a small fee.

Project 2: Sunflower Bowl - Using pre-cut clear and yellow 10" circles you will cut and nip petals and fill the center with frit.  The 10" Yukon Mold used for slumping is included in the tuition so you can use it with future projects. 

(Optional) Use some composite Gold Leaf in between layers or on top for unique results in your projects.

Pre-requisite:  Meet with instructor prior to class to pick out glass color for the Coral Sea Bowl.  No Experience Necessary.

Fusing Camp

We are excited to offer open studio night for fusers! Are you brand new to fusing?  Been fusing for years but need more space than you have at home?  Or maybe it is just fun to be out with others who share your passion of making beautiful glass art.  For a $30.00 fee we will provide you with access to the tools and space in the shop as well as one kiln firing of your piece, up to 1 sq. foot.  Larger pieces and additional firings will be individually assessed.  We will provide ideas and demo's each week and have hands on support with two instructors,  Our glass molds will also be available for your projects at an additional fee. Beginner to expert, ages 13 and up.

No prior fusing experience required. If you have not cut glass before, please call to schedule coming in during one of our 3hr stained glass classes to learn how to cut glass. Class 3hrs, Cost $18.00.

Elements of Fusing

There is something mysterious and exciting about melting glass. This beginning class enables students to quickly learn and execute a variety of techniques.  Foundational fusing principals will be covered, giving vital information to help students grow in confidence for future projects. This will be hands on experience with each student creating fused tiles.  Students should have basic glass cutting skills and tools. Supplies are included in the tuition fee.

Frit & Vitrograph Impresssion

This class is designed for busy people on the go that want to create something amazing in a short period of time. In this 3 hour class you will become an Impressionist artist defining your masterpiece by colored frit. Create an 11" fused square art piece that becomes a stand-alone art piece or as an option, have it slumped onto a shallow bowl.

Bonus: We will also have a Vitrigraph set up and give you the opportunity to pull some stringers or twist some spirals that can be include in your art piece.
All supplies included.

An additional $10.00 fee if you chose to slump your art piece in to a plate.

Fused Garden Stakes

Add some spice to your garden. Join us for this spring workshop and create your own one of kind fused garden markers. In the workshop you will make 4 stakes. Additional stakes can be made for a small fee.
We provide the glass, stamps, paint, ideas, pattern & stakes. You provide the creative spice!  This workshop is kid friendly (age 8 or older with participating adult) . Young students would need to bring gardening gloves and safety glasses that fit them

Fused Stringer Plate

A fun evening class.  Design a unique fused dish that looks like fabric.  No experience necessary. Use layers of glass stringers to create a beautiful pattern that is first fused then slumped into a mold to create a glass dish.

Coral Sea Bowl

This beautiful and delicate bowl is perfect for gift giving or for you.  This sea-inspired bowl can be made in your choice of colors.  With a few tips on design and layout, even a beginner can create a bowl that's ready for a gallery.  The simplicity of this Coral Sea Bowl is an elegant design that is easy to make and eye-catching on any table-top! All supplies included.

Fused Christmas Poinsettia Plate

In this exciting new workshop you will create a Poinsettia Plate for the holidays.  Use it for your favorite holiday cookies, candy or Hors D'oevres.  Students will complete the design with a little painting and frit to give it dimension.  The project will
be fired and then slumped. The plate mold is included in the price.
