Offered on the last Wednesday of the month:

We are excited to offer open studio night for fusers!  For a $30.00 fee we will provide you with access to the tools and space in the shop as well as one kiln firing of your piece, up to 1 sq. foot.  Larger pieces and additional firings will be individually assessed.  We will provide ideas and demo's each week and have hands on support with two instructors. Our glass molds will also be available for your projects at an additional fee. Beginner to expert, ages 13 and up.

No prior fusing experience required; but cutting skills are needed.  Attend a first night of Stained Glass Class for instruction. Cost $25.00

Time: 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Bring: Glass cutting tools, safety glasses

Don't think you have a green thumb?  You won't need one, just join us to make an exotic 10 to 12 inch fused glass flower with a copper stem.  *Option 2:  Or you can make three 6 inch flowers to add to your pots.

Light Up Your World with a Lantern

Join us to create your own one of a kind lantern. You will foil and assemble your lantern from pre-cut pieces.  We will add copper highlights to the interior to create a sparkle and reflect a warm glow when your candle is lit. The finished lantern will be approximately 4” square and 9” tall.

Time:  Saturday, 9:00am - 4:00 pm,

Bring:  Lunch, glass cutting tool, 60/40 solder, soldering iron

Let us help you please the birds in your yard! Come in and create a one a kind fused bird bath for your birds to frolic in.  We will provide the table top stand, 2 - 16” F96 glass rounds, F96 pebbles and F96 scrap glass to create your one of a kind bird bath.

Each student will trace and matte a piece of clear glass over a black and white design of their choice. Note: don't worry if you don't understand "trace" and "matte" - that is part of what you will be learning. Sample designs will be available, or students are welcome to bring their own. The size of the project will be 8" x 10". Multiple layers of paint will be applied and the piece will be fired with the goal of creating depth and shading in one firing. By the end of the class, attendees should feel comfortable adding paint to any project.

Students will understand the products and the process involved in creating painted projects.

Times: 11:00 am to 4:00 pm

Wired and Inspiried Yard Art

Finally, what to do with all that scrap! This workshop will show you how to arrange and create a 2 foot tower of glass to display in your yard. The scraps will be foiled, soldered together and secured to a copper pipe. There is a little prep work as you need to have your scrap glass pieces foiled and pre-tinned prior to arriving for the workshop. Basic soldering skills are needed. This class is pure fun with just a little work.

Pre-Requisite: Soldering skills and an ability to have fun with glass

Time:  9:00 am to 4:00 pm

Bring: A syllabus will be provided upon registration with your "home work" and what you need to bring to class.
